Luxury Hotels in Ireland

Castles | Manor Houses | Luxury Hotels | Our Selection

We bypass impersonal chain hotels, choosing instead some very special hotels, many of them members of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". Each has a unique atmosphere and history, many are owner run and all offer an extremely high standard of service and accommodation.

Expect to pay between €180 and €500 per room per night, depending on season and room type, in these properties. This will include breakfast.

Sample Country and Manor House Accommodation

Merrion Hotel, Dublin

The Merrion Hotel has established itself as the epitome of relaxed grandeur, welcoming visitors to the city with stunningly appointed rooms, crackling turf fires and a host of facilities.

Located in the center of Dublin, close to many local attractions and within walking distance of all the shopping areas. The 125 guest rooms and 20 suites are the epitome of elegance and also supremely inviting and comfortable.

Guests can enjoy the hotels drawing room, sun lounge & library for afternoon coffees or drinks in the evening.

Park Hotel, Kenmare, Co Kerry

The Park is in idyllic setting, overlooking Kenmare Bay in South West Ireland, and is totally dedicated to resident guests (the hotel has no meeting or banqueting facilities). Each of the 46 bedrooms includes a spacious sitting area furnished with antiques and objects d’art while most have a full water view or private veranda.

The Dining Room with its acclaimed menu and service is classical in every sense of the word. The jewel in the crown here is SÁMAS, the hotels Deluxe Destination Spa, dedicated to holistic treatments and pure relaxation. Guests will certainly want to take a day out from touring to sample this remarkable place.

Tinnakilly House Hotel, Co Wicklow

Tinnakilly - literally "House of the Wood" - is  a Victorian mansion steeped in history, now renovated as a luxury hotel and one of Ireland's most romantic getaways.

The elegant bedrooms provide all modern comforts and several feature four poster and half tester canopy beds. Most rooms enjoy breathtaking views over the Irish Sea whilst the remainder offer sweeping views of the gardens.

The dining room serves a blend of modern and traditional cuisine, with fresh fish, game and local Wicklow lamb a speciality and its own herb gardens to supply the kitchen.
