From the road: Cobh in the Spring sunshine
A newly arrived tour group are thrilled with the wonderful Spring weather we are enjoying at the moment. We’d love to say we can promise blue skies and warm sunshine every April – sadly no, but at least we have proof it does happen!
Guests often ask us if we can adjust the itinerary so that they will see sheep in their natural habitat. It’s not really a problem as they are all over the place on high ground and low ground.
Help at the Office
Our office is in a converted coach house, more than two hundred years old. On a day like today it’s lovely to see the sun streaming in the windows and to look out over the garden. If you must work there are certainly worse places to do it!

Truth or Fiction?
Almost every guidebook will tell you that John Dunlap, who printed the first copies of the Declaration of Independence, served his apprenticeship in Gray’s Bookshop in Strabane. But is it true? We did a little research.
